I seek to support you in a way that is empowering and transformative.
Whether it be through a custom tincture blend, or in-depth work that involves herbal, supplement, dietary and lifestyle changes, the goal is to have you feeling your most vibrant self.
The goal is to support your transformation.
The goal is to help you learn about yourself.
The goal is to increase the communication and harmony between your body, mind and soul.
If this sounds like something you want to explore, you should know that I work best with clients who are motivated and want to do this work. Even when kicking and screaming, what is important is that YOU show up and take the steps necessary to reclaim your health! If you show up, I’ll show up 🙂 I am committed to this work, and I expect those who come to me for support to be committed as well.
I don’t believe that taking herbs will solve any (long-term) problems unless other things are also shifting. If taking pills, supplements and herbs solved our problems we, as Americans, would be the healthiest people on the planet. We are not.
Herbs are one part of the support network of wellness and healing, the others are: the foods we eat (and don’t eat), the liquids we ingest (and avoid), the supplements we might take, the exercise/movement we engage in, the psychological and emotional support and changes we make, our spirituality, our foundational stability (security of: food, water, housing, and income) and the quality of social connections we have with others.
Ideal for Chronic Issues and Transformation
In the first session, you will have an in-depth 60-90 minute intake session and consultation, minimal paperwork to fill out, individualized herbal, diet and lifestyle instructions, and all of your starting herbs shipped directly to you, and support between sessions. Follow-ups will be scheduled to discuss where you are in your journey, and to help guide decisions about next steps. Sessions are typically scheduled in this manner: First session, first herbal refill=second session (can be anywhere from 1-4 weeks after the initial session, it depends on your needs), then consecutive follow ups are based on how you are doing and whether or not you need more herbs (typically once every 3-4 weeks for 3 months, then less after that).
If you want to make changes to your food intake (aka diet) for whatever reason, and need guided support, advice and accountability check-ins… this is the program for you! In this program, you’ll take an honest look at what you are eating, learn if it is working for you or not (my guess is not, if you are here), and discover different ways of eating that will improve how you feel. This program runs for 40 days and includes check-ins and email and text support.
We’ll start with a 60 minute discussion of what your health currently looks like, where you want to go with your health, what you eat now (this involves a food journal!), and then you’ll receive a downloadable pdf and video explanation of your custom food program through a password protected private page on this site. You’ll journal what you eat for your “on” and “off” program days, how you feel, and begin a discovery process.
With this 30 Minute session, you not only have the consultation, you also get email support after your session, and suggestions that are easily obtainable, doable and available in most grocery and health-food stores (or online)! These mini sessions are fantastic for “don’t get sick” immune-boosting ideas too, or starting your cold/flu at-home apothecary so you can have everything ready to go before you get sick! Sorry, these sessions are not for chronic issues or long-term care.
Your information and privacy are important.
I will never share your personal information (such as name, address, phone, email, etc) without your permission first.
What To Do If You and Your Herbs Are Not Agreeing With You
If you are experiencing an adverse reaction (i.e. allergic reaction, sudden cold, stomach upset, headaches, dry mouth, etc.) to herbs, stop the use of all herbs immediately and contact me. Do not continue taking the herbs. I have seen very few adverse reactions to herbs, but it does happen and I feel it is better to provide this information to you from the outset. This way, if you notice anything is unusual in an unpleasant way, you know what may be going on. Typically within 24 hours of ceasing the herbs, your body will return to normal. Obviously, if your reaction is severe, please see a doctor immediately.
If you are allergic to certain plants, pollens, alcohol, gluten, etc. please let me know so I can plan your herb and diet recommendations accordingly.
Consultation fees are to be paid in full, prior to the initial consultation. If you are unable to pay in full, I offer payment plans with a deposit made prior to the first session. Two additional payments are to be paid by the third session.
Not everyone has a pile of money sitting around, waiting to be used on consulting, organic foods and fancy gyms (I certainly don’t!) Likewise, not everyone lives in an area with access to farm-fresh locally raised food. Please tell me any of your concerns or restrictions, and I will do my absolute best to provide you with the most comprehensive suggestions that also fit within your budget. It is possible to work with an herbalist and not spend a ton of money every month on supplements, food and lifestyle changes.
I offer sliding-scale sessions to those who have financial burdens.
I want you to have the best possible experience, and will go above and beyond to give you the tools you need to succeed with your health goals. If you have questions, contact me.
